Professional Background

Ms. Yan is the founder of Glow Education and a graduate of the English department at Cal Poly Humboldt. With a deep passion for education, she has extensively studied over 300 sets of reading, writing, and grammar curricula, including renowned programs such as IEW and Wordly Wise i3000.

Expertise and Experience

Ms. Yan has a strong understanding of the Irvine school district’s curriculum and academic standards. She has designed a unique program that integrates root word study, syntax, close reading skills, and writing into every class. Additionally, she specializes in preparing students for standardized tests such as the ISEE and TOEFL, as well as providing expert guidance on private school and college application essays.
